Parent books and pays
A parent books a $60 drop-in session and pays a $30 deposit.

Stripe processes the payment
Stripe charges their standard fee (2.9% + $0.30) = $1.17

DropInKids platform fee
We take 0.5% of the booking total = $0.30

Pricing Questions
Can I start for free?
Yes! The Free plan lets you accept up to 20 bookings per month at no cost — you only pay the 0.5% transaction fee when you get paid. It's a great way to test the platform before upgrading.
What's included in the free trial?
The 14-day free trial gives you full access to all features of the Starter or Pro plan you choose. No credit card required to start. At the end of the trial, you can continue on a paid plan or switch to the Free plan.
Can I change plans later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your dashboard. If you upgrade, you'll get immediate access to new features. If you downgrade, changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
Are there any setup fees or contracts?
No setup fees and no long-term contracts. Pay month-to-month and cancel anytime. We believe in earning your business every month.
How does the 0.5% transaction fee work?
When a parent pays for a booking, we collect 0.5% of the total booking amount (not just the deposit). This is in addition to Stripe's standard processing fees (2.9% + $0.30). The fee is automatically deducted before funds reach your account.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes! Pay annually and get 2 months free. That's $190/year for Starter (instead of $228) or $390/year for Pro (instead of $468). Contact us to switch to annual billing.
